Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Lyons Early Childhood School website.

Our Early Childhood team offers best-practice, innovative programs that address the learning and development needs of children from birth to 8 years.

As Principal, my aim is to ensure that each child and family who enters our school is welcomed into a supportive environment. Our school’s philosophy embraces a love of learning by all. We offer a developmental curriculum with a strong focus on learning through play. Childcare and education staff at Lyons are working as one team providing collaborative, wrap-around support to children and their families.

Inclusion and participation are the cornerstones of our programs at Lyons Early Childhood School. All children and families are encouraged to participate.We promote active involvement and connection with our families who are encouraged to contribute how best they can and in ways that suit the needs of their children. We also promote close connections between all groups of children across childcare and education. What you will observe at Lyons is a tight-knit school community where transition from childcare to school is seamless.
